Dr. Kelly Koinm

Dr. Kelly Koinm is a dedicated veterinarian with a passion for providing exceptional care to animals. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, she began her journey in the medical field by serving eight years of active duty in the U.S. Army as a medical laboratory technician. During her service, Dr. Koinm earned an associate degree in medical laboratory technology from George Washington University in 2007.

Driven by her love for animals and people, Dr. Koinm pursued her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2010. Her commitment to veterinary medicine led her to North Carolina State University, where she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2014.

Following graduation, Dr. Koinm returned to active duty as a Veterinary Corps Officer, providing care to the military working dogs at Minot and Grand Forks Air Force Bases in North Dakota. In September 2018, she relocated to Nacogdoches, Texas, where she purchased Connolly Animal Clinic, furthering her dedication to serving the local community.

Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, Dr. Koinm completed a master’s degree in clinical Toxicology from the University of Florida. Her areas of expertise and special interests encompass emergency medicine, toxicology, and soft tissue surgery, allowing her to address a wide range of complex veterinary cases.

In her personal life, Dr. Koinm finds joy in spending time with her husband Brandon and their two children, Mia and Alexander. Their household is also shared with two Bengal cats named Sterling and Darwin. When she’s not caring for animals, Dr. Koinm enjoys staying active through exercise, playing softball, and cherishing quality moments with her family.

With her unwavering dedication and extensive experience, Dr. Kelly Koinm strives to provide compassionate and comprehensive veterinary care to every patient she encounters.

Dr. Meredith Stanaland

Dr. Meredith Stanaland graduated from Texas A&M Veterinary College of Medicine in 2015 after attending Stephen F. Austin State University. She started as an associate veterinarian in Frisco, Texas and developed into a Chief of staff in 2017. In 2020 she became a Medical Director in the Dallas/Fort Worth area mentoring and developing doctors. She cherishes building lifelong relationships with her clients and patients. Dr Stanaland enjoys small animal dentistry, internal medicine, and preventative care cases. She is a member of AVMA, TVMA/welfare committee and local county VMA.

She met her husband Austin while attending undergraduate classes at SFA. Austin and Meredith have one daughter, Jody. Over the years they have added 3 horses, 2 dogs and 2 cats to their family. You can find Dr. Stanaland riding horses with her spare time.
